Since I can remember I’ve been a builder. When I was a kid I used to save all the cardboard in our house to make toys with. From cereal boxes to toilet paper rolls I would collect it all and make the most elaborate, functional play things.

As a grew up my materials expanded and my inventions became more complex and detailed. When I got to college I picked up my first serious camera and I fell in love with the manual nature of its functionality. I loved the process it took to actually create an image.

I’m a maker and when it comes to making images the precision, thought, and shaping that goes into my shots is what I love about this work. Whether I’m shaping light, the creative concept, or the final color in post-production every piece of the assembly is essential in the final construction of an image that tells the whole story.
