WE HAD FUN WITH THIS ONE.
This spec spot for Wendy’s gave me a chance to flex a few muscles: strong visual direction, clear product focus, and tight execution across a lot of moving parts. It’s one thing to come up with a fun idea, but making it land in 30 seconds is something else entirely. And that’s where good directing lives: in the tension between idea and execution.
Bringing this one to life meant staying hands-on from pre to post production: shaping the concept, refining the script, building a team that could move fast without missing nuance, sourcing the right talent, and making sure voiceover, color, and sound all worked in harmony. There’s a rhythm to building a spot like this, and part of the work is knowing how to keep that rhythm intact all the way through.
